what makes us different

Our Approach to Veterinary Care in Chantilly, VA

As a client of LifeCare Pet Hospital, you can expect our full attention to your pet’s needs. When you arrive for your appointment, you will be greeted warmly and we’ll invite you into an examination room after checking in your pet. One of our veterinary technicians will start by asking about your pet’s medical history, current condition, and the reason for your visit, gathering data for the doctor. One of our doctors will then examine your pet, ask you further questions, and may recommend diagnostic tests. Once the tests have been run, which can usually be done in-house, the doctor will discuss a possible diagnosis and treatment plan, if warranted.

This is a great time to ask questions. Our veterinary team wants to make sure you’re completely comfortable with the information we’re providing. Our veterinary technician will come back to wrap things up and will provide you with helpful pet care information, answering any wellness and care questions you may have. Our front desk staff will process your payment and schedule any needed follow-up appointments.

Please note: Our goal is to see all our clients and patients on time, and although we have contingencies for emergencies, there will be times when the unexpected creates delays. We will ensure these situations are minimized as much as possible. We are excited to meet you and your pets!

Over 18 Years caring for animals.

Caring for animals has been a passion of mine since I was very young.  I started working in Veterinary hospitals 18 years ago.  That passion led me to get my Animal Science Degree from the University of Connecticut and my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State  University  College of Veterinary Medicine.  I practiced small animal medicine in Oklahoma and Connecticut before moving to Bluffton with my family in 2019.

Starting Fetch A Vet is my way of extending my passion for animal care and my service to clients by offering house call veterinary wellness care.  I enjoy creating genuine bonds with both clients and pets and look forward to many years of growing with the community.
